Glasgow is the birth place of Charles Rennie Mackintosh and is also the place to go to view the design of his stunning buildings, furniture etc. In the city centre is Glasgow School of Art which was designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh and The Lighthouse which is linked to him also. Other attractions include The Willow Tea Rooms and Scotland Street School. When visiting Glasgow at least one of his masterpieces should be viewed to give you an insight into this architect's distinct individuality.
Recent years have saw the opening of the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, a venue for international artists and a complete spectre of music. The neighbouring Buchanan Galleries boasts excellent shopping facilities within the one complex. The City Centre, Merchant City Area and West End all adorn their own individuality and a taste of Glasgow.
